The biggest change after raising a cat is that every time you travel, you will feel sorry for the cat. There is basically no need to worry about diet. Without a feeder, you can add more pots of water and food to solve it. Only shoveling shit is the biggest problem.
Therefore, in order that our cats would not be too uncomfortable when we were traveling, our door was determined to equip cats with an automatic cat toilet.
Just in March, I researched some similar products on the market and found that some automatic cat toilets are very particular about space requirements, some need to be installed in toilets, and some are too expensive, and maintenance is troublesome. After discovering the introduction and appearance of Petree fully automatic cat toilet, I immediately placed an order and purchased it.
Full face value, just the size
Before I received the goods, I was prepared that it would be a huge cat toilet. After all, I introduced 4L's large trash can + large internal space … the opposite is a behemoth.
As a result, the toilet was much smaller than I expected. I have used cat toilets that can be opened and closed, and also used semi-open cat toilets. Compared with them, Petree’s automatic cat toilets are almost the same size, only the difference between round and rectangular. The shape is just a little bit more space, which is not a problem.
Needless to say the appearance, all white ball design, with appropriate gray in the lower part of the embellishment, the designer saw the Nordic-style advanced color matching enthusiasts, so that the toilet fits into the home environment, beautiful and practical.
The main body is easy to remove and wash, and it is odorless and hygienic.
I am a host who likes to wash cat toilets. Basically, I wash them once a week. The most concentrated flavor of cat litter (zui chou) is the bottom dust, which is the limit without washing for 2 weeks.
So after opening the box, the first time I was not looking at the function, but to see how to disassemble and wash. For me, it is not convenient to take apart and wash, and it is also smart.
A Phillips screwdriver, 1 girl, 3 minutes.
Remove and wash steps:
1) Press the left and right buttons of the protective cover at the same time, and gently lift upwards to remove the shell;
2) Remove two screws, one left and one right, on the half-moon fixing rod;
3) Pick up the body ball and finish.
This is a result that I did not expect at all, and I can’t help but marvel at my husband: it’s too convenient.
All the electrical accessories that support the rotation of the toilet are designed in the lower part, and the upper part is just a spherical space, which is lighter than my cat, and then the whole ball is washed, and I soak it in hot water + dew for 10 minutes. problem.
Reasonable noise, normal range
Regarding the sound, I can’t say no, but it is similar to the sound when the kettle is boiling water and the oven is operating. It is too harsh to completely mute the electronic equipment. But the sound is indeed within a reasonable range, even smaller than I thought. At least the cat is willing to sit next to it while the toilet is turning, it proves that the sound is within their comfort range.
Extra large space inside, the cat turned away from the side
What is the concept of large space? That is, I saw the cat turning around in it, but I didn’t touch the left and right sides, hahaha. I have used other toilets in my house before. The interior is a square design. I did n’t think there was a problem at that time, but I do n’t know why. After the cat is used to pulling, it is necessary to go out and cover the litter.
Now, compared with Petree, a ball space, I found that it is actually difficult for a cat to turn around in a square toilet. In the past, in order to avoid stepping on their own feces, they would first pull out, walk out of the toilet, and then stand outside and reach in to cover cat litter. But in a circular space, they can be in one step: finished, covered with sand, and left.
This small detail makes me feel that Petree is really standing on the cat’s point of view and thinking about design. After all, as a shit official, the cat experience is more important to me than any selling point.
More than one cat, safe speed
Speaking of cat experience, my biggest worry is that the three cats will be afraid of the toilet turning, and dare not go in. The three cats in my family all have different personalities: KIMI who is not afraid of the sky; stable CATHY; and LENA who suffers from paranoia.
As a result, when I unpacked, CATHY went to the toilet to sleep, and she thought it was a cat’s nest; Kimi immediately opened the first toilet and opened the poop after the new toilet was poured into cat litter; Go to the toilet. My previous worry was completely redundant. The three of them were still watching the excitement around the room while the toilet was turning. I can only understand that the sound and turning speed of the Petree fully automatic cat toilet are comfortable ranges that cats can accept.
Automatic tentative to prevent cats from getting stuck
The instructions mentioned: In the running state, when the cat enters or is touched manually, the toilet will immediately enter the braking mode. After the cat leaves, it will continue to complete the procedure, the purpose is to prevent cats from getting stuck.
I didn’t experience this feature, because the cat slipped after going to the toilet … but I tried to press the toilet during the rotation, and one time there was a pause, and the hand left and continued to rotate. But it only succeeded once, and after two artificial touches, it didn’t trigger success. I guess the toilet knew it, and I was making fun of it …
I consulted a Petree customer, and the other responded that the program would automatically trigger and related to weight. For example, if you press, you must reach the weight of the cat. This setting is quite user-friendly.
No odor and dust, large capacity of trash can
I have tried tofu cat litter, and I have tried to use the official recommended small grain cat litter. They are not big, and there is no dust when turning, and it may not be the same as other automatic cat toilet user feedback. Would be more wasteful. I tried to put a thin layer of “soda powder” on the bottom of the cat litter to suck the smell, but when I turned it, it didn’t bring up dust, which had to be praised manually.
I also tried putting the toilet next to the TV in the living room for a whole day. It was really odorless. I can only say that the toilet is very tight, and the trash can behind it is full, and it will not overflow the smell.
Real intelligence
Finally, I said the automatic shoveling function, because this is the focus of the entire cat toilet, it must be finalized. I admit that when I saw the MIX line where the cat litter was placed, there was a hint of suspicion in my heart: Is this cat litter sufficient for two days?
I think so because before I received the real thing, I thought that every time the cat went to the toilet, it would automatically shovel regardless of the toilet. It turned out that I still underestimated the intelligent brain of the toilet. The original beautifully designed pedal was actually a weighing machine.
1) Weigh the pedal and turn it up to the standard
When the cat steps on the pedal, the system calculates the weight and measures the cat’s dwell time. After a certain period of time, the number of effective cat excretion is determined and it will automatically rotate.
Then, my husband thought about it and said, “That is to say, if you are a long-legged player like the three cats, all of them go in and out of the pedal, will it never rotate automatically?”
2) Real intelligence
Indeed, this seems like a problem. But if the cat litter box automatically rotates every time it urinates, it seems reasonable, but in fact it is the least common sense. In my experience, this is a waste of cat litter. Another thing, if the owner is traveling, the most feared is the excessive number of rotations, resulting in insufficient cat litter in the basin.
Although the automatic rotation is to take away the agglomerated cat litter, it is certainly not as fast as myself.
Moreover, the situation that my husband said does not actually exist. I do n’t know if you find it. Cats usually step directly into the litter box because they are clean and there is no excrement. On the contrary, when they will observe by pressing the pedal, it is because there is already excrement in them, and they need to stand there to observe and find a new place to poop.
After thinking about this, I realized that Petree designed the weighing on the pedals to be truly intelligent. Imagine that if the cat stepped in directly, it means that the toilet is clean. He only needs to go once and automatically rotate. Isn’t it a waste of cat litter?
But if the cats are standing on the pedals, it means that there is already excreta in them. The longer they stand on the pedals, the longer they find a clean place, and the more the excreta, the more weight the pedals weigh. At this point, after he left, the cat’s toilet calculated enough weight to start working.
At the end of the evaluation, I also give a small suggestion: this product is not good enough with strip tofu sand. If you use spherical bentonite, it will be even more icing on the cake ~
In this way, the first: intelligent calculation, only enough to save the amount of rotation before turning; the second: to maximize the guarantee of cat litter stock in the pot. To me, this is called true intelligence. It is more practical than simply turning in and out and then rotating. Therefore, based on what I said above, Petree fully automatic litter box, I would like to give Amway all the shit officials around me.
